Brouwer Brothers Steamatic has 50 years of experience in handling large loss and commercial property disasters, with world-class technology and proven leadership. Brouwer Brothers Steamatic is focused on building relationships with insurance companies, risk management firms, commercial and industrial property management companies, industrial hygienists, hospitals, and healthcare facilities across the Midwest.

As a member of the Steamatic franchise system, Brouwer Brothers specializes in providing Mitigation Services for Fire Damage, Water Damage, Environmental Cleaning, HVAC System Cleaning, and AeroSealing. We also focus on Construction and Restoration by bringing properties to their pre-loss state. Brouwer Brothers Steamatic is certified by the State of Illinois to provide Continuing Education Classes to Insurance Agents, Adjusters, and Property Managers. We provide free monthly classes at our Alsip Restoration Center on Ethics, Fire Restoration, Water Restoration, and Mold Remediation. We will provide CE classes at your location for groups of 10 or more.

Why Brouwer Brothers?

In 1969, John and Mick Brouwer purchased the franchise rights for the entire Chicagoland area and NW Indiana as one of the first franchises offered by Steamatic Inc. They named their company Brouwer Brothers Steamatic and by forming this company, they brought, for the first time to the Chicagoland area, a patented steam carpet cleaning process that cleaned carpeting and furniture with hot water extraction. Today Rick Brouwer, Mick’s son, is the owner of this fast-growing, family-owned business. He bought the business from his father and uncle after many years of working in all aspects of this fast-growing, family-owned business. Brouwer Brothers Steamatic continues to have a vision that includes the continuing education of all personnel and the reinvesting of company profits into equipment, processes, and on-going training. What began as an operation out of John’s garage, is now a company that employs a team of over 40 people and occupies a 30,000 square foot restoration center in Alsip, IL. Brouwer Brothers not only service our Chicagoland customers but also travel throughout the country to help aid and support our fellow Steamatic franchises with our Large Loss expertise.

Over the years, Brouwer Brothers Steamatic has expanded our list of services for our residential and commercial customers, such as water and fire restoration, HVAC system/Air duct cleaning, mold remediation, plus many other related services. Our latest venture and fastest growing service is Brouwer Brothers Construction, which primarily focuses on offering services to restore the structure to its pre-loss state after services like restoration and mold remediation.
